How does the credit system work?

Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets on your billing date. A quick search costs 1 credit per metric looked up. A deep search, which reads annual reports and SEC filings directly, costs 5 credits per metric looked up. If a search returns no results, no credit is used. Once signed in, you can also purchase top-up credit packs; those credits never expire and stack on your monthly allowance.

Quick vs. deep search: what's the difference?

Quick search uses AI-powered web search to retrieve financial data in seconds. Deep search locates and reads the company's actual annual reports or SEC filings, slower, but it returns precise figures with page-level citations and supports custom metrics.

Which plans include custom metrics?

Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans unlock custom metric extraction: EBITDA, gross margin, operating income, free cash flow, and any metric you specify. Starter and Free plans return revenue and employee count only.

Does this cover private companies?

Yes. Unlike Bloomberg or Refinitiv which focus on listed companies, Company Financials covers both public and private companies. Private company data comes from annual reports, earnings announcements, and verified press releases.

Can I use this commercially?

Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans include a commercial use license, suitable for financial models, client deliverables, and SaaS products.
